*sigh* Kailey and Wyatt’s perfect San Diego Wedding Day where we traveled around taking in glorious San Diego sites. The day was meticulously planned and communicated to all the vendors by the magnificent Lauren of Happileigh Hosted Events.
The day started at the The Homewood Suite by Hilton San Diego hotel. I was not expecting it to be so massive! I fortunately showed up early and after walking around a bit, stopped in to the front desk where they kindly helped me find the North building (who knew hotels had North and South buildings?!)
Stunning. The Immaculata Church is a small taste of European churches here in the States. Located on the University of San Diego’s campus it has a soaring ceiling and stained glass windows.
As Kailey walked down the aisle of the historic Immaculata Catholic church with her father, Wyatt shed a few tears and repeatedly uttered “wow.”
Being a wedding filmmaker, I loved capturing the emotions along with sweet interactions throughout the ceremony.
After the main ceremony and group pictures, the bridal party stole away to a nearby building for dramatic pictures in a Victorian inspired event area with chandeliers, fire places, and dramatically tall windows.
The views from the Admiral Kidd Catering and Conference Center on the Point Loma Navy Base are stunning. Located on the San Diego Bay, it had the most beautiful view of the San Diego skyline. The reception started at 5pm so the sun was heading down in the sky and the lighting was perfect. I’ve attached raw stills below from the videos I captured.
What is a wedding teaser trailer? For more you can read this blog post of mine. In short: a teaser trailer is a short sneak peek of the wedding day.
Wedding films can take a while to edit, so it’s a great way to get your couple a shareable video while the wedding excitement is still fresh in their minds and while they’re eager to show all their friends and family.
